The Professional Law Corporation of Hulse & Wanek presently consists of 6 lawyers. Hulse & Wanek is a diversified firm, primarily engaged in handling the defense of claims involving products and manufacturers’ liability, architect and engineering malpractice, contractor liability and construction litigation, environmental and toxic torts, legal and accounting malpractice, business and corporate claims, and general insurance coverage and defense.

We are sensitive to both the requirements and limitations of today’s competitive law practice, and our primary goal in representing a client is to provide top quality legal service while also acknowledging the cost of litigation. The philosophy of our firm is to deal with our clients in a direct and straightforward manner, evaluating and handling each case individually and expeditiously.

To implement this philosophy we have developed various procedures over the years to serve the interests of our clients. For example, the directors of the firm meet on a weekly basis to review all new cases. In these meetings a general discussion of each case is held, and special needs of the client are reviewed by the directors. The case is then matched to an attorney in the office after taking into account the client’s preference, the nature of the case, attorney expertise, and case load. This approach assures consistently high-quality legal service while maintaining effective case load management. We recognize that communication and discussion of cases with our clients are the cornerstones of good practice.

Hulse & Wanek is keenly aware of the rising costs of legal services. The firm works with its clients to limit the costs of discovery and to pursue methods of alternative dispute resolution in order to reduce litigation expenses. When appropriate, associate attorneys and para-professionals are integrated into the case to allow lower billing rates for certain types of work. We are willing to work with clients to develop alternatives to traditional billing methods. We share with our clients a desire to control costs while providing the highest possible quality legal representation.
